Wrapping Ideas & Where To Buy ??

DD1 is turning 4 in 3 weeks :jawdrop: (where did those years go) and her present's are not easily wrapped in the sense that she has quite a few little things as part of 1 bigger present and then she has a bigger present that well lets face it just can't be wrapped properly.

Present 1 - Cooking stuff.
2 x silicone cupcake moulds
1x mini grater
1x silicone spatula set
4x baby cino cup sets
1x set glass mixing bowls (small)
1x whisk
1x measuring cups set
1x measuring spoons set
1x mini frying pan
2x kiddie kutter knives
1x measuring jug
1x kitchen timer
1x cookbook (yet to buy)

I was thinking of just setting it all up on the kitchen bench and then maybe taping a roll of wrapping paper over it all, i don't really want to wrap it all individually as it will look like A LOT when normally they get say 3 wrapped presents and that is it. IYKWIM.
Would a wrapped up bench be exciting ?

Present 2 - 50cc Quad Bike
This is the present that will make her cry (in a good way) so i was thinking we get a stremer and lead it from the kitchen to the sliding door with the curtain closed then we open the door and there is her motorbike with a giant bow around it?
We are going to try and get stickers and the like to make it all special with her name and stuff on it..... WHERE CAN I BUY A BIG BOW or HOW DO MAKE ONE?

Any other hints or suggestions on wrapping or ways to make it exciting would be greatly appreciated.

We have also ordered her a chef's hat & apron set with her name on it that FIL will give ger so i can't wait to see how she reacts, she's such a big girl now :crying:

0o0o0o0h We gave Miss H a kitchen with a few utensils etc for her 4th birthday as well :)

We set it up, then covered it with a sheet....and made a big production of her *unveiling* her present!

Also, you can get lil private number plates for her on eBay? to make her bike all the more awesome! (excellent present by the way!)

For the kitchen stuff, I would put it all in a box and then wrap the box :)

Thanks - they got a kicthen from SIL for x-mas last year but she spends most of her time in the real kitchen with me so we decided it was time to get her her own utensils (then i can stop misplacing mine).

Haha she will love the motorbike the most, she rides our quads on her own and has used the 50cc ones at our cousins, was racing people by the 2nd day so having her own is going to be so much fun.
We actually bought 2 one for her and for DD2 BUT we will give hers on her b'day then a day or so later give DD2 hers so it doesn't take away from DD1's b'day IYKWIM.

Yeah i'm checking e-bay now for personalised stickers, will check out the number plates although i have someone who might be able to make one.

What about a treasure hunt using a long bit of string linking all the bits all over the house? She gets to following the string and find all her pressies?

Thanks everyone - i might do a bit of a treasure hunt with the kitchen stuff, grouping a few things together in a pile and then the final streamer can lead to her quad bike.

We've ordered number plates off e-bay for both of the girls bikes so hopefully they are here before her b'day - she is going to LOVE the bike.

I asked her last week what she wants for her b'day and normally she says i don't know, so i told her we would write it out and she sat down and we made a list, am glad to say all the stuff we have is on the list PLUS some ideas for other people... :dance:

What about putting all the kitchen stuff in a huge box?

I thought of the huge box but i wanted to make it a little more interesting this year IYKWIM.
Normally we lead a streamer from her room to the presents in the lounge which are surrounded by balloons but i thought i could try something different.

Was alsmost going to do the wrap the kitchen bench up and have all the ingredients for pancakes on the bench for her to make with all her new stuff.
