Under Bench Water Filter
I am looking for recommendations for an Under Bench Water Filter. I currently use a Brita Jug in the fridge but am looking for an easier system as I currently use the jug to fill bottles as well. I will also need it installed not DIY if anyone has had this done?

Reverse osmosis is great but there are also other things to consider. We had one put in by Elite Water (now split into two companies, Elite Water now service mostly athletes, sports people etc as they can achieve higher levels of hydration with their filters) but if you look up their website you will be directed to the right place. Jody (guy) who runs it is really super awesome, very helpful and friendly.

Thanks Kelly :) They look great but a bit out of my price range, it would be worth more than my whole kitchen! They seem to be "ionizers" as well which may account for the price. I just want it to taste nice!
Anyone in NSW? Any other recommendations?

I've gotten one without the ioniser because there was something that isn't recommended in pregnancy... if you send him an email you can get a more basic unit that costs less like I have :) Like I said, on that site they are very advanced filters for athletes and sportspeople. Out of my range too ;)

Not sure if they have them NSW but in our old place we put in a Puratap and loved it - we also had the brita jug before :)
This place we have a whole house filtration because we run on both town & tank water.

We have one and I love it! It has two filters a charcoal one and cotton I think the second one is. You have to be aware though that it takes out the fluoride so I still give the kids normal water and cook from the unfiltered water too. The filters need changing every 12 months depending how often the taps are used dh cleans them our occasionally too.

Thanks :) I've found a local company who can supply and install. Their base model is $138 installed or the next one up for $210...just need to check replacement cartridge prices!
