I'm trying like mad to find the receipe for bi-carb and vinegar mix to scrub my disgusting grout in my bathrooms/showers. I think it has gone past natural receipe but I want to try that first.
Also how do I clean a smelly sink??
Thanks

I used a squirt of dish washing liquid, 3 table spoons of bi carb, about a cup of white vinegar to 1 1/2 cups water in a spray bottle on the bathroom - we have fibre glass bath, but the tiles came up fantastic!
As for kitchen sink I sprinkle bi carb all over rub it in with scrubbing brush then a dash of vinegar leave for 1/2 hr and then rinse/scrub and they smell great and sparkle.
About half way down the page is a list of recipes I copied from a tv show:

Bicarbonate and vinegar for the sink hun! Lots of it! My bathrooms is one place I've not been able to replace my White King but maybe try the vinegar and dish washing liquid spray Rouge posted a few weeks ago?
Oh sometimes I add a drop of essential oil like eucalyptus or lemon
The way I do it may not be the "right way", but I use bicarb mixed with water to a paste and use that to scrub stuff (the bicarb gritty-ness helps get off dirt and grime) using a cloth or a scrubbing brush depending on the job. I use an old toothbrush with bicarb paste for grouting.
I then spray it down with vinegar (and let it froth) and scrub it froths on stubborn bits.
Use clove oil spray to kill mold spores in shower (mix 1/2 teaspoon of clove oil to 1 litre of water in spray bottle).
For the sink, put some bicarb in it, pour some vinegar down and let it froth up. Bi carb nutralises the smell and vinegar kills nastys making the smell. Maybe put some eucalyptus down and around the drain to make it smell nicer too?
Rouge's trick works https://www.bellybelly.com.au/forums...actually-works
I've used it, I had old shampoo and used that instead of dish washing liquid. I've still got some in my spray bottle and I just nuke it for 30-45 seconds before I use it. Stinks, takes a bit of work to get all of it off the shower (because I can't move my showerhead around, so use a bucket), but I've got a clean shower with no mould (I've got no natural light in my bathroom which doesn't help)
Yep I used Rouge's one on our friends rental when we evicted the filthy tenant. The brown bath that didnt look like it had been washed in the entire two years came up pink after leaving it to soak and better still, no scrubbing my arms off. Smelt awful, but it worked a treat! My mother was amazed and was converted overnight lol! Probably not so natural given it is still detergent but not as bad as it could be I suppose.
Thanks ladies!!
