Over emotional
I am trying to figure out if I feel like crying all the time from hormones or of my depression has come back which I weaned off meds a month ago or maybe it's a lovely ****tail of both
I was crying watching people surfing the other day for goodness sake
Do you get sad and want to cry at everything ?

I am definitely more emotional when pg and tend to cry at sad events, rather than just real tear jerker things. Might be worth chatting to your prescribing Dr or if u are going to a hospital to birth perhaps they offer additional services you can access?

Will be seeing psychiatrist on 22nd just getting worried because I don't want to go though depression again after I've just recovered

Excellent idea to check in with your psych. Pg can be a very emotional time so it will be good for you to get some extra support around you.

I was very emotional this last pregnancy also, I considered going onto meds it was that bad. I was crying all the time and seriously thought I was going to end my relationship over the emotional crap. Its an old wives tale that the more emotional pregnancies are girls lol and it was true for me. Definitely find someone to talk to, because its better to talk to someone trained to handle it than those around you who love you but don't know how to support you. There is a time and place for that sure, they need to know how you feel, but if you are anything like I was - feeling highly emotional ALOT - the intensity can also get too much for people to handle, especially our men.
I relied heavily on my naturopath for homeopathic remedies (which were awesome) and other supplements that were great to help while pregnant and emotional. Nicole Tracy is on the BellyBelly support panel and can do phone consultations, so she can send stuff right out to you without having to go to her. Highly recommend that, to help balance crazy hormones and make sure any deficiencies are addressed. I was also very low in iron which made me a bit more feral and tired :)
Her website is www.nurturedbynature.com.au - and she is one of the most divine, lovely and gentle women I know.

Hello Lovely Ladies,
I'm always here to help if you need - pregnancy hormones are very powerful indeed, but can be safely tamed using herbs and homeopathics.
No need to suffer sweet ones - get in touch with me if you would like some support.
Much love to you all - especially you Kel, for providing this amazing and nurturing online community,

I'm having a rough time of it at the moment also. This little one has had such a journey so far, I'm hoping that the next 4 weeks go smoothly and I have a safe, natural & calm birth xx how can I get in touch with you Nicole?
