Hi ladies
I need your help, I've been roped in to helping organise our work christmas party for the children.
We're having trouble coming up with an idea as to where to have it and what to do!
Does your work host a children's party? Where have you been in past years?

We used to go to the SEC Picnic for my stepdad's work - LOTS of employees and kids so it was always held at a huge park.
Egg & spoon races, sack races - 3 legged race.
Santa came of course with presents for each age group.
They had activties stations (drawing, painting etc), face paints & at some of them they had proper rides but that was because it was a HUGE company.
Depending on your age group you could look at possibly a play centre, any local wildlife parks or adventure parks?
We just had an end of year gathering with DH's work on the weekend. No santa but the concepts could still be applied.:)
It was at a winery around 30 mins from CBD so really accessible to most people. Lunch and drinks were provided for all adults and children. There was a huge park/open space attached to the winery so they organised for a company to come and entertain the kids. They were called something like Kids sports and were fantastic! They set up around 8 different sporting activities and took the kids to all of them - it was more about playing fun games and learning the skills as opposed to playing a set game - teeball, hockey, cricket and basketball to name a few as well as egg and spoon races, sack races and a giant tug of war at the end. :lol: Kids had an absolute ball and were entertained for at least 2 hours! Parents loved it too.
Would definitely recommend it again.
