I've been so patient so far I've waited this long to have an ultrasound. I'll be 10 weeks 1 day when I get my very first one done so was wondering if anyone can tell me what I can expect. By this time should I be able to identify our baby looking like a baby and should I see movement?
How did everyone else feel when they saw their baby for the very first time in an ultrasound? I'm thinking that I may need to take some tissues with me just in case :)
Yes it will look like a baby and if he/she is awake you will see movement! :D It's very cool, you'll be able to see the heart beating as well :D You may need tissues or you may be just in awe.

Oh and when I had a scan at around that gestation, the radiology gave me a CD with the images to keep - check if you get one :)
Hey girls, I thought I would drop in and update that I had my ultrasound yesterday. The most amazing experience I have ever had! I'm in love :)
Measured exactly at 10 weeks so my date is just 1 day in front so right on time and heart beat is at 183 bpm. Besides the morning sickness it feels real now!
