1 - bad back pain ramping up to contractions, 2 - water broke, 3 - a big bloody show, 4 - a lot of mucous with only a teeny bit of blood.
My first started with waters breaking then niggly contractions 8 hours later ramping up to full contractions.
My daughter started with a show more mucous with blood than big blood mess then was only niggly in my back and they broke my waters 9 hours after my show and she was born 15minutes after that. Didn't have contractions until after my waters were broken (and they were intense!)
DD1 was SPOM at home
DD2 was contractions, I knew that it was a contraction because it was very different to BH I had been having.
Ds my waters broke at home then I was induced 9 hours later and he was born 5 hrs later
DS1 I was induced with gels, water broke on my own, contractions followed and he was born 2 hours later.
DS2 waters broke, contractions started 45 minutes later, after 9 hours of labour I ended up with an emergency c/s
Water broke...
Both times my waters broke :)
DD1 - Sharp stabbing pains across the top of my bump, no pattern to them. Thought DD had gotten into a bad position.
DD2 - Induction. Gels were inserted and within the hour I was having contractions.
DD1 waters broke at 36+2 at 1.30 am at home- went to hospital, cx started very mildly across my tummy at 11 am went home 11.30, back to hospital roughly 5pm and she was born 7.30pm
DD2 waters broke in bed at home 35+5 cx started mildly immediately about 5 min apart. Went to hospital as preterm labour and she was born at 7.48am
DD3 Cx started about 8.30 then stopped until after lunch, slowly built up to tight/uncomfertable feeling around my tummy, went to hosital after 9pm and she was born at 11.48pm
I get most of my intense labour pain in my back but it seems to start mildly around my tummy in the begining of labour
Lost my plug, contractions started maybe 30 mins after that, waters broke 2 hours after that :)
Spontaneous - period like cramps progressed into intense back pain contractions (he was posterior), then a huge bloody mucous show.
My waters broke with both, followed closely by ctx starting. Both arrived nearly exactly 12hrs after waters breaking. No.1 ctx fizzled out until syntocinin (drip). no.2 arrived nearly 4hrs after ctx became regular.
DD # 1 - Induced 9 days past EDD ended up with 'emerg. c-sect.'
DD # 2 - SROM, 'proper' contractions started 15 hours later, 3.5 hours labour ended up emerg. c-sect due to fetal distress.
