DTD still hurts
So quick history, DS1 just turned 2, labour was very fast and traumatic and I sustained a 3rd degree tear and some muscle damage that required immediate surgery, 10 weeks later DH and I were DTD no worries. Fast forward 14 months, DS2 arrives equally as fast just slightly less traumatic. I still sustained a 3rd degree tear just no internal damage and was stitched up on the table. DS2 is now 10.5 months and DTD is still hurting. I've started pretending to be asleep so DH doesn't try and start something and I hate myself for that. Is this normal? Or should I go see someone?

Definitely go see someone!
I always made sure we DTD before my 6/8 week check up so if it hurt or didnt feel right i could have it looked at. How did you go at yours?

I had the same problem after DD. I had a 3rd degree tear and was stitched up on the table. 4mths later we still couldn't DTD, I couldn't even put in a tampon without cringing. I went to see my GP who then referred me to a gynecologist. What was hurting was the scar tissue (to me it felt like I was stitched up too tight) so I went back in for surgery to have the perineum repaired. Now, you would even know there was a problem. I've since had DS (almost 1yr to the day after surgery). I had a 2nd degree tear with him but healed normally again after. Go see your GP and hopefully they can get you on the way to feeling normal again. Good luck.

Re: DTD still hurts
Get refered to a gyno hun, it sounds like its healed funny. I had to have surgery to repair scarring from DS1s birth.

Might be worth getting checked up again. After my first it took a long time till I could have sex comfortably, but it did eventually get better with time.
