Trigger/epu questions
i am currently doing a down reg cycle, epu scheduled for friday morning, 37 hours after trigger tonight.
just wondering how many hours your clinic schedules epu after trigger? seems to vary around 36-38 hours... doesnt seem to be a huge variation, just curious to find out if all clinics work within this timeframe or if some clinics trigger earlier/later.
also, has anyone used pregnyl as a trigger? i have used ovidrel & syranel as triggers before, this will be first time using pregnyl. little risk of ohss with this cycle and apparently pregnyl is supposed to be a gentler trigger than ovidrel. just wondering if anyone else has used both previously (or even just pregnyl as a trigger before), and how the cycles compared (egg quality/numbers etc).
thankyou. :)

Trigger/epu questions
My trigger was 36 hours before and it was the kind that you mix together yourself- is that pregnyl?
I got 7 eggs- 3 of which fertillised.

Yeah, my trigger has always been approx 36-37 hours before pickup. I have always used ovidrel but I have read lots of women use pregnyl (in the US mostly). I think it is cheaper.

I've used both as trigger. When I used pregnyl the timing of EPU was slightly different. It's been a while, so I'm trying to remember, but I think he had me do the pregnyl one 36 hours before EPU and the ovidrel was a couple of hours different, but I can't remember if it was less or more. Sorry, I'm not being much use, am I?

36 hours for us, haven't used pregnyl as the trigger though, only ovidrel
