Advice on low & slow rising HCG levels please.
Long story short,
On day 29 I POAS & got a :bfn:
On day 30 I POAS again & got a :bfp:
Bloods were drawn on day 30, so Thursday and my HCG level came back at 5. My GP phoned me after hours and told me to return on Monday for a follow up blood test. I did so and went back for the results today. I knew straight away I was going to get bad news. The results came back at 19. They suspect it's a blighted ovum. I've got 2 weeks for my body to take care of itself, before I go back for more bloods and an ultrasound. A d&c would follow if needed.
Has anyone else ever experienced low & slow rising HCG levels, and then had the pregnancy continue safely & healthily? Or am I swimming in a sea of grief & denial :crying:
Thanks in advance for responding xx

Then I had hcg that was higher than Tays - just (around 40 at 4 weeks)

Sorry sent send on my phone.....
Anyway they seemed to be doubling ok, slightly slower than usual and my first scan showed blighted ovum with hcg 666 (omen number :().
Came back a week later and there was a heartbeat around 107 YAY.
I requested one more u/s to keep my mind from going into overdrive and had it at 9 weeks and no more heartbeat.
My hcg was still rising so I had to have a d & c which I was ok with because I had exams but it was a horrible roller coaster. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed you get results like I did for my dd!!! It's so unknown what will happen but I honestly believe had I not stressed out so much things might have been different. I was literally having panic attacks because we had been trying so long.
