Scan out by 4 weeks :(

My scan today at 10weeks 2 days showed a gestational sack normal for 6 weeks gestation. I tested my BFP just over 3 weeks so I am not holding out any hope. I went because I had been passing blood on wiping. The sonographer also said there were spots of blood withing the sac but this is seen often and can go on to be a viable pregnancy.
He chatted honestly with me and when I told him how early I tested positive we agreed I should plan for the worse, so I am.

I just can't fathom there being a 4 week difference, 2 weeks I can understand but not 4 weeks.

So it's off for blood tests and another US in a week if nothing naturally happens before them.

So sorry for the anguish. Was there a heartbeat?

I have experienced pain of a MC and clung onto hope for 2 weeks it is a terrible feeling and worry xoxo

I'm assuming so as he did an internal and again said everything looks as it should for 6 weeks. He did the wavey thingy where they record the sound, it's just scientifically not possibly to be 4 weeks off right?

I was just in such shock as I was expecting to see a little person almost I forgot to ask about heartbeat

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. Can you ring tomorrow and ask about a heartbeat?

I believe anything is possible! Ive been nearly 3 weeks off but bub arrived fully cooked when I said I should have been due. They prepared me for the worst especially considering Id have previous miscarriages.

However I have been there in that horrid wait for 'something to happen' either way and it sucks.
