Anyone stayed at the Hard Rock or Dynasty in Bali?

Hi,

We are planning a family holiday to Bali in July next year. Our kids at the time of the holiday will be 8, 4 and 3 years. Someone has recommended staying at either the Hard Rock or the Dynasty both in Kuta, due to kids club, water slides for the kids etc.

I was wondering if any of you have stayed at either of these two resorts? Basically after any feedback on them would be great or if any of you have any other recommendations for accommodation for my family over there I would love to hear it.

Love love love the Dynasty! I was there just over a week ago :D
We took DS last year, he was 18 months so still a bit little to enjoy the kids activities, but we got a free upgrade to a ground floor family room which was excellent.
My Aunty and Uncle take their 3 DD's (11, 9 & 6) once a year and have always chosen the Dynasty as well. They have a great kids pool area with lots of fun water equipment, daily entertainment like tug-of-war, volleyball and watching fruit carving. The staff there are fantastic and they offer cheap in-room babysitting if you'd like a break to go out ;) I'm pretty sure they also run a kids club as well.
Dynasty is also very close to Waterbom Park, a good day's outing there.

Haven't stayed at the Hard Rock, so can't compare, but def would recommend the Dynasty in a heartbeat :)

I'm subbing to this as we are hoping to take the kids on an overseas holiday in the next couple of years. Great to get some ideas. Sorry to take over but would the family room cater for 2 adults and 4 children?

From a travel agent point of view go with the dynasty. The hard rock is overpriced for what it is, you pay for the name. Just be prepared that the dynasty is crammed with kids and families year round. Water bomb park and good family restaurants are right on your door step :)
