16month old BF

Heya,

Just wondering how many feeds your 16month old had/has.

My daughter is two next week and she has already had 6 feeds today lol and it's only 10am!

DD2 at that age was feeding 3-4 hourly around the clock lol

Oh I feel better now! we feed a few times overnight too but I figured she was making up for what she missed out on while I was at work. Weekends are full of feeding too.

Yeah. DS was probably having 4-5, DD maybe 10....
Sounds about right! I've found with my two that around 18-ish months they have gotten much needier - and for some kids that translates to more feeds, too. My DD would have fed hourly (at least!), day and night, if I'd let her at that age.

Our DD just turned two and still has so many I don't bother counting, plenty over night too. The girl is a boobie monster :lol:

Around 8 feeds here at 21 months.

=/ Changes here. DD is 15 months... she is also having cows milk so it depends on how needy she is as to how much she will feed. Generally we have a 7/8am feed and then a feed at 5/6pm & 7/8pm, she goes to bed with a bottle of cows after a breastfeed and then can be anywhere from 1-4 in between 8pm and 7/8am. On the weekends she is a boobie monster we would have 6-8 a day :lol:
