I would be just 6w6d today but started bleeding red heavy blood with some small clots at 6w4d. I was getting morning sickness before finding out I was pregnant or even thinking I could be. It leaves me pretty buggered in the mornings and unable to do much with my boys and I really just want to feel better and get back into routine. How long does it normally take before you begin to feel physically ok again? I haven't passed anything big enough to be the sac and contents yet.
I miscarried immediately before my current pregnancy- I was exactly same amount of time along as you. All symptoms were gone in a week.
Oh and I had first twinge of 'period pains' on day 1, first clot that night, last big clot day 2 in the middle of night when I went to loo. At advice of a nutritionist friend I was taking magnesium tablets which help with cramping and stress (also been taking them during this pregnancy as they were so helpful). You can buy them at health food stores for about $12.
I'm sorry to hear of your m/c.
I doubt you'll get much relief before you pass the sac. I had the worst of my m/s in the week before my d&c (mm/c) and it wasn't until 24 hours after the d&c that it eased. I was told by my OB that it's the sac that prompts your body to produce the pg hormones and that it was the reason my m/s was still so bad.
I am so sorry for your loss.
It took me about a week to pass the sac after which the symptoms eased quite a bit nut then another week for the symptoms to disapate completely.

Headed to docs on Monday. Still have some symptoms but thinking that they are more related to low iron now
Sorry to be a bother but I completely stopped bleeding the day after I lost the clot and now I've started spotting (only when I wipe). I've never had this with my other 2 m/c and now I'm not sure what to think. Do I need to go to the docs and confirm that I've m/c? I don't think I could still be pg but I did have a huge bleed with DS1 and then spotting a few more times in the following weeks. I had been sureId lost him because there was just no possible way he could have survived but he did. Gah I wish one way or the other all this would just hurry up
Hi Damprye! Sorry to hear things are confusing right now for you :(
Go to the Doctor, and have 'retained products' ruled out. If not, you're running the risk of infection. The waiting place is a terrible place to find yourself and I truly hope you're ok. xx
Sorry to hear of your loss damprye, it sucks doesn't it. I lost my sac today, still have a small trickle of blood running but the cramps have all but gone.
I have an appointment with my ob next week to do a last check and make sure it's all gone, and to discuss next steps, I suppose.
I would suggest seeing your doc too, and be sure to ask lots of questions - that's what I'm planning to do. * hugs*
I am booked in to see the doc today as I still have m/s and sore breasts (the two annoying me the most) so will see how that goes.

Being sent for blood tests to make sure HCG is gone and then if it is, further testing to see why I'm getting pregnancy like symptoms including iron levels

My symptoms never went as I went straight into another pregnancy. My baby is soon to be 3 :)
