DS was feeling off yesterday and nearly threw up in the car( moving day!) but didn't. Ate a bit of dinner and woke up throwing up, he can't keep water down poor thing and is asleep now.
I have anxiety about him getting the needles and now this, is it a normal reaction? Have others had a vomiting child after 4 yr shots? ( please NO debate about immunisation, just want to find out if this is a normal reaction) . Did google a bit but it only mentions fever and malaise!!!
I'd say its a tummy bug darl :(
In my info vomiting s only a symptom in an allergic reaction which generally occurs within about 15 mins.
DD2 was fine a few hours after her needles, but then went downhill really fast. Vomiting, sweating, pale and her arm had a massive lump and was hot to touch. I called our GP who asked me to bring her back ASAP. Turns out she had a bad reaction and needing prednisone to reverse the reaction.
Needle was 48 hours ago so am thinking gastro, bugger but also good ITMS.
My DD1 had a temp and vomiting for a few days after a DTPa+polio vaccination.
