Need to enrol baby into tafe daycare but no crn

I am meant to start a tafe course at the start of next month and had planned to enrol ds2 into their daycare on the day I'm there so not to effect breastfeeding. My issue is centrelink haven't processed his birth paperwork yet (it's been 6 weeks) so I don't have a crn to give daycare. I can't afford full fees unfortunately. Is there any way I can find out or do I just have to put off tafe until next semester?

I was able to start mine before having a CRN and just let them know when I got it (I had to chase up on the phone) - no reduction till got it but got the money back.

i work in childcare and at our centre you child could still start daycare but you werent eligable for any rebates or benefits until the CRN number was given.

If its six weeks since you sent forms its probably worth calling up...
