Infrequent weeing (3 year old daughter)

My daughter has been toilet-trained for almost 4 months. She is 3 and 2 months old. She used to wee a normal amount - 5 to 6 times a day, but this has cut right down to 2-3 times a day. Most times she is reluctant to sit on the potty or toilet. She does not have accidents - she just doesn't wee very often. Her fluid intake is pretty low - maybe 300-400mls a day, despite me doing my head in trying to increase this.
She can go 8 hours without doing a wee! I try to physically put her on the toilet/potty, and she will kick and scream and physically remove herself.
She does not answer my questions about whether she needs to go. I tell her not to hold in her wee, but have no idea whether she listens.

I can't figure out what the issue is, but I'm guessing it's a combination of stubborness, being "in control", and not wanting to interrupt playing.
When she does finally wee, I watch her carefully and there is no sign of discomfort or pain or anything like that.

She has been awake for 3 hours so far today, and still has not done her "morning wee"! She has had a few sips of milk to drink, but can not be "encouraged" or "forced" to drink any more.

Do I need to take her to see a doctor? Although I'm not sure what they can do. No one can "make" her do anything.

EDIT: Hmm, I just accidentally induced a wee - I made her laugh! And with the laughing, she headed off to the potty.... Hooray.

My son has really cut back on his wee action since he has TT. I reckon 3-4 times a day. Bladder of steel.

He's fine in all other ways and his water intake is good some days and terrible others. I don't stress about it. He's not dehydrated at all and I always offer water. I figure he's holding on now because he can.

DS can go to bed at 7pm, wake at 7am and not pee til after 9am! During the day is much the same, but if I ask him to wee, he will. Rarely tells me he needs to go.
Both my DD's are the complete opposite to him and have a fascination for the loo (jokes.. But no problems going)!

Yes, my daughter is the same! She can do her last wee at say, 5pm, then not wee again before bedtime - and still wakes up the next morning with a dry nappy - AND then not wee until 2 hours after that!! This morning was the longest - 3 hours after waking up...

So you guys don't think it's a problem?? I really don't want it to be a problem, but I wasn't sure if she needed to see a doctor.
When she has a lot to drink in one go - like 200mls+ at once, then she does go more often.

Unless she's showing signs of pain, I'd not be concerned. I'd be more worried about her low fluid intake. I purchased cups with straws stuck to the side as a novelty to get all my kids drinking more, it worked!

You could always speak to your GP or health nurse and see what they say?

eta: DS is 4, TT since a few months before 3... No nappies day or night

Thanks - maybe if I call my GP now, they can get me an appointment next month :) My child health nurse has given me wrong advice before so unfortunately I don't trust her expertise.
Yeah, I've tried every trick in the book to get her drinking more... straws, different kinds of cups, novelty cups etc etc etc. I can start my own cup company lol

Are you or your husband similar? My DD is like this - I have never worried
Because I know I am the same as is my dad - my fluid intake can also be quite low but is just how I am.

I used to have fairly good bladder control before I became a mum... no longer, unfortunately! But I'd always pee first thing in the morning - I don't understand how she can wait hours before weeing after she wakes up! I guess this is just how she is though.
