Stressing. Doing everything wrong...
I know I posted this in the BB thread, but I'm really stressing and need some reassurance.
I am shattered. Completely stuffed. We had some water come in our lougeroom, from the sky, not flooding up thank goodness. Which soaked our carpets. They have been put outside to dry out but DF insisted we had to bring them in tonight despite me telling him I needed to rest. I see his point but Im so sore and tired, I just needed to sit. And that doesnt include my wrist, which after moving a heap of furniture by myself because of our small flood is now incredibly sore. Did the stupid carpets and 3/4 of the way through we discover a spider on the sofa. Tries to squash it, missed and decided the only way to kill it was to spray the **** out of it. It ran inside the sofa so now we have no idea if he got it and if not where the **** it is. Not to mention all that lovely poison Ive just inhaled. Now Im scared its going to cause a miscarriage.
Plus, over the last 3 days Ive also eaten feta cheese, buffet at sizzler, prepared salad with cold egg in, and a ricotta and spinach sausage roll because I cant let on to MIL that Im preggas.
I feel like Im doing everything wrong and so scared that one or a combo of these things will cause a defect or loss.
Tomorrow I get to overdo it again when I have to go shopping by myself with my 3 year old and no car. I just want to rest!!
I need a hug. Tell me it will be ok.

 It WILL be okay, you'll be okay. You're a tired, stressed, hormonal mumma, you're doing a good job. Go easy on yourself.

I know the feeling. But we can't wrap ourselves in cotton wool for nine months eh? Especially with other kiddies in the mix.
Try and rest as much as you can, before and after the shopping. Or maybe shop online?? Might be worth paying delivery to save you sanity and energy?

Just remind yourself that most people don't even know they're pregnant before 4 weeks so they do all that stuff and go on to have normal fine healthy babies. And to avoid stress, don't eat stuff you know will stress you out for anyone else's sake, your allowed to say no to food! And most people are pregnant and towing around another small child (eg I have a 15kg 2yo that has insisted on me holding/carrying her all the time since I was about 5 weeks pg, I'm now 11.5 weeks and she's still at it!) and it works out fine. Try not to stress, tho I know it's easier said than done! Good luck x
