Anyone had HCG of around 379 at 23DPO?

Hi everyone,

I got a faint BFP at 12DPO, this has slowly got darker and this is how my HCG bloods have gone so far:

14DPO = 47
16DPO = 70 (doubling rate of 83 hours, so outside the 'normal' 48-72 doubling rate)
23DPO = 379 (doubling rate of 69 hours)

I'm so worried these are such low numbers :( My numbers with DS1 were so much higher, around 800 at this stage.

Has anyone had numbers like this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy?

Any advice is greatly appreciated, I'm so down :cry: Although I am very grateful the numbers have risen at least.

Hi,

I can't say I have had a similar experience with hcg count but wanted to post as youve had so many views.. Is your doctor worried? Perhaps if the doc thinks they are low it could be a good reason to grab a referral for an early scan? By this time you should be able to see something on US to see if it is viable or not?

:clap:Hi i think as long as you are close to doubling you are fine, i have stressed myself out sooo many times because I did'nt double in the time frame, and yes i have had some slow starts that have worked out perfectly, try not to worry if it makes you feel better keep having your BTs repeated & get an early US but aim for 5-6weeks so you get the HB you don't want something else to stress about, good luck.

I haven't experienced it, but you're pretty close to the recommended rate. Keep us updated and try not to worry (although I know it's hard).

Thanks girls. Its not looking too good, is it? I've decided to stop googalling, its doing my head in and the stress can't be good for any developing embryo.

I saw my GP today, she agrees numbers are low but said to leave things for now and just book in a scan at 9 weeks (if I make it that far). :( I don't know why I have to wait so long :(

My hcg at 16dpo was only 18, I was so sure it was downhill from there but it rose steadily and here I am, anxiously awaiting a 12 week scan in a few days :) the main thing is its rising, not where it starts!
