Do you have a first aid kit in your nappy bag and if so what's in it? What would you consider the essentials? I had a toddler who is now into everything and I'm bound to need one when out at some stage! I have a big 1st aid kit in the car but that isn't always close when we are out and about.
My 'first aid kit' is a bunch of homeopathic medicine. Rescue remedy, chamomilla, arnica, stuff for my hayfever and some band aids. :)

I think there might be a shark bandaid squashed down the bottom of the front pocket. Does that count?

Hmm, I have baby Panadol and a Piglet band aid - that's it :redface: I do, however, have all my pills and potions should I require them. I'm an awesome mum hey :lol:
Nope never had one. Always had band-aids in my wallet and paw-paw ointment in my bag and thats about it :)

I was thinking of just a pretty small thing with some basics, lavender oil, peppermint oil, tea tea balm stuff, bandaids, nurofen for if it's really needed, maybe a mini magnifying glass & needle. A coulple of butterfly stitches tape thingos, alcohol swipe, & triangular bandages are pretty small these days, it would be the bulkiest thing but worth putting in there.
I don't think anyone is a bad mum if they don't have a 1st aid kit, it's obviously not something I've been carrying around :p
Don't have one. I have an extensive kit in my car should I need it. And most places I would require one (Park etc) i would have my car. If it was a local park, they can wait until we are home.
We have an extensive first aid kit in the car. In the nappy bag however, we have panadol, nurofen, antihistamine, teething gel, and a thermometer as well as DDs ventolin, spacer and mask all in the cooler pouch.
I have one now since DS because he is at risk of extensive bleeding due to his medications. Never had one before this, although as fate would have it, the only time I've had to pull it out was for dd when she got bitten by an Ibis. I was more worried about getting a disinfectant onto her hand than anything. Who knows where that bird had been? Lol

I'm a nurse and don't have one lol not even in the car. I could always bring in my bear Grylls skills if we get stuck :rofl:
I have band aids and cotton balls in case I need to wash a cut or scrape. Other than that not much else :)
