My Grandparents come out with some awesome 'Life' sayings...which i didnt realise had really shaped the way i look at things.
Anyone else have some of these?
One my Grandfather always says:
"you can wish in one hand, and spit in the other. See which one gets fuller first!"

I'm trying to remember some of my grandparents sayings and I'm struggling.
Before my nan passed, she told me you should always be kind to people because you never know if one day they might give you a free wheel chair.

My Grandma taught me 'find a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck'. I can't walk past 5c on the ground, in case I'm passing up all my luck! I've taught it to my children now so they can be the tight a***s picking up stray coins!
my nan always told me to wear clean undies incase I got hit by a bus lol
2 pieces of advice my grandma told me were 'never leave the house without a kiss' and 'never go to bed angry'. not just in regarfs to your partner but other people too.
My mum always says "if you don't have time to do something right the first time, what makes you think you have time to do it again"
From my Papa... "You should think of your words to others as nails into wood. You can take them back but they will always leave a hole."
My Nanna always said 'you are the company you keep'. When I was a teenager I told her she was mean and just didn't like my friends but I soon realised she was right.
