Years ago I read a beautiful letter re a mother who birthed a baby girl with DS. It was so lovely but I cant for the life of me even begin to know how to search for it. It was how everyone was awkward and she didnt understand why people wouldnt celebrate her daughters birth. There was a lot more to it but does this sound familiar to anyone? If you can think of it can you please post the link? I have a lovely friend who may just love to read that. Thanks in advance.

I love this blog - she's just about to have bubba no. 3 (a boy).
Kelle Hampton also now has a book called Bloom, which covers Nella's birth and first year.
There is a piece of writing around called 'Welcome to Holland', which is a nice take on receiving the news that a LO has Down Syndrome. Just google the title and it will come up.
I was going to suggest Welcome to Holland also, it's a great passage for whenever life throws you a curve ball.
I also have Kelle's book and it's a great and honest read.
I remember the link to this being on here a few years ago. I'm going to save it this time ;)
