I'm looking to add some new dishes to our rotation of dinner meals.
What's your sure fire dinner hit with your family?
Something that could be served with rice or pasta would be a bonus.
Thanks!

tacos. the kids love them. You could easily make some rice to go with that too. You could even make it as nachos if you don't think they'd like tacos.
Agree with tacos & nachos. I add beans or lentils to the meat mix so there's always some leftover for the following night, when we have it as a tortilla wrap.
My kids love meatballs done on a tomatoey sauce with rice.
Tuna pasta
Steamed or oven baked fish with fried rice
Mine love chicken wraps on really hot days. I cut up heaps of salad ingredients and shred chicken and they love to make their own wraps. Drizzle on some mayo or sweet chili sauce and they are yum!
Pasta bake with mince mixed through.
Carbonara with spiral pasta. No cream in mine at all. Just egg, bacon, white and black pepper and a little parmesan.
mild chicken curry
home made steak sandwiches
home made pizza
creamy chicken and brocolli fettuccine
i'm making myself hungry now lol
Risotto. The girls love a cheesy one with peas. I use a homemade chicken stock so I know it is fairly nutritious.
San choi bau
Rice paper rolls
Chicken salad w dijonaise dressing
Home made lamb slovlaki
Spinach and ricotta canaloni
Chicken dumplings with pasta
Meatloaf
Thai beef salad
BLT
Rice salad
The meals my children will always eat
Fried rice
Roast chicken with veges/salad
Lasagne
Nachos/tacos/chilli con carne. I add tons of beans and chickpeas to the mince to bulk it out and add fibre
Chicken burritos
Lasagne with grated veggies
Spag Bol
Cheesy meat. Veal crumbed one side stuffed with ham and cheese
Rissoles/roasts/chops and veg
Chicken skewers on rice with salad
Pasta with tomatoes and chorizo
Honey mustard chicken (we have it with rice, pasta or mashed potato)
Beef & bean stir fry
Quick sausage & zucchini stew with mash potato
Chicken & corn soup
Minestrone
Subbing as I'm loving all these ideas and need to add some new ones too. I'm getting hungry just reading all the ideas lol.
A recent favourite I rediscovered was porcupine meatballs! You know, with the can of tomato soup. I serve it with mash :)
Tonight I am doing a Chinese dish my old boss showed me with rice noodles, cabbage and chicken. Mmmmmm.
