What is your one perfect Mummy moment?

Mine just happened, prior to this is was DS's happiness when his little sister was born and he met her for the first time, but I digress...

I was putting DS (almost 4yrs) to bed (had already put DD (7months) down) and she woke. DH tried unsuccessfully to resettle her and her cries were getting louder so DS said to me "Let's go help her" so we jumped out of DSs bed and went into the nursery to help Daddy.....

I sat in the rocking chair with DD soothing her back to sleep, DS climbed into my other arm so I had my babies on each side of my lap, they held hands with each other and both fell asleep in my arms while I rocked and stroked them. I totally soaked in the moment with tears in my eyes for some time before I called out softly to DH to come help me put each child into their beds.

Totally Beautiful Moment that has me reminded how full my heart is and how perfect my life is.......Geeze my life rocks!!

Awww that's beautiful hun, I can't wait to experience it myself! One of my most beautiful moments with my DS would be when he first told me that he loved me (only after I told him to tell me that! lol).

That's the cutest thing I've heard all day...

For me, my favourite moments (apart from watching my little dude sleep... cause let's face it, that's pretty great..) are when DS attacks me with kisses. Big, sloppy, just ate some rice crackers and have food all over my face kisses :rofl: . Sometimes I laugh so hard trying to direct his onslaught to my cheeks so as to avoid a mouthful of baby drool and chewed up food, I nearly wet myself and cry lol. The more I laugh, the more he giggles and continues to attack. Sometimes he'll plant one and then rub his face side to side frantically......... hilarious.

Its these moments I love being a mama the most.

Aaw hun Thats gorgeous! It may or may not be the hormones but Im all teary now. LOL

I was lying feeding DS to sleep tonight and put 2 of my fingers in his hand. He shook his head and said "no", made me let go and adjusted our arms so he could hold my hand properly as he fell asleep. ♥

Aw Nai that is just beautiful! My beautiful moment has been holding my big girls hand whilst she is falling asleep whilst breast feeding my sleepy baby. So much love and peace.
