7 months and distractible - down to 5am feed from one breast :)
DS has just gone 7 months, for the last at least 3 he has been the ever distractable baby, I have twin girls at 3 and they are running around screaming and laughing and jumping all over us, part of me is surprised I lasted as long as I did. For the past month he has been so distracted as to feed for a minute or two, or literally 10 sucks. I was originally only topping up at 6:30pm and formula feeding at 10pm, first expressing same time then dropped that. So in the space of a week I went from ok feeds of 5ish minutes to hardly any at all ie 11am was 5 sucks. He refused the left as it was not as full or did not let down as quick. I bit the bullet and swapped to formula, breasts coped ok as he wasn't feeding so well anyway. I was then down to 6.30pm and about 5am BF. Since he won't feed at 6:30 pm either.
So my question is, I have done about 5 days of 5am feeds from one breast only :). How much longer can this last realistically? I love BF and don't want to give it up if he will take it.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated, thank so much.
