Started Pill Mid-Cycle

Hi there everyone,
Well I've gone from trying to have a child with DH for 3 years to being single and now attached again but not TTC... However...

I started on Monofeme mid cycle, I'm not charting but I know I was close to ovulation time by my body and I started the pill around then.

Yes had unprotected intercourse and curious to hear your opinions, if I've been taking the pill since ( 2 weeks now), am I protected, or would I have been somewhat protected?

I know it says after 7 days from first white one etc etc... but If I by chance ovulated a few days before taking and have been taking it since, what are the chances of pregnancy..

Furthermore...What should I be looking for if I am because I don't know whether what I've been feeling is pregnancy or pill :o

Felt really "sooky" thursday night, and Saturday started wanting to cry for no reason...then i bawled my eyes out and I was fine, my BB's have been hurting, happens normally a week after ovulation but dulls, they are still sore and feel "full".

I woke up this morning feeling flu-ish and feel it now but no fever.

I feel nausea and have been for a few days on and off.

I'm hungrier earlier.

I'm SUPER sleepy even after a good sleep.

When I need to pee, I NEED to do it NOW.

Are these side affects of the pill as-well?

It could go either way. Best way to find out is test. When is AF due?

I would test. Those symptoms sound pg to me.

I did a bit of googling for you and it says you must use other contraceptives for at least 7 days (as you know). The side effects of Monofeme don't appear to include need to pee, but could include nausea. I just googled Monofeme and the first thing that came up was vic gov health pamphlet. That had lots of side-effects. Might be worth a look.

AF would be "normally" due in 2-3 days, but if going off the pill it would be another week and a half.

I have gotten a couple of tests and I'll have a go tomorrow and just wait and see.
If it's side affects of the pill I'm definitely going off it! Don't like this feeling! :(
