So I'm looking at double prams. I currently am using the single agile with the capsule for dd2. My plan was when I did this to put dd1 in the carrier but she point blank refused to be carried anymore a few months ago so it's no longer an option. I'll be using the carrier for dd2 as well but right now I'm finding it easier to just transfer a sleeping newborn with the capsule. Dd1 is a nightmare on the loose so I really need a double pram.
Looking at 3 so far.
Steelcraft Strider Compact:
Pro's - capsule fits. Seats can be facing you.
Con's - I'm worried that dd1 won't fit in the little toddler seat, which means she'll need to be up the top and the capsule down the bottom and then when she's out of the capsule dd1 won't fit in if dd2 is facing me and dd2 will end up down the bottom so this all defeats the purpose of bub being able to face me.
Baby jogger city select.
Pro's - love that dd1 could face the world and dd2 can face me.
Con's - my capsule won't fit. This makes me sad as I feel it would have been perfect otherwise.
Steelcraft agile twin
Pro, capsule will fit, dd1 can see and fit, the double of what we already have.
Con: pram is useless when dd1 is able to walk nicely without needing the pram. Which will probably be next 6-12 months. Bub can't face me once out of capsule.
As I can't actually view any of these prams in person and fiddle with them to see what I like as we live 4hrs from the nearest baby shop, I don't know how to choose as none of them are perfect. So would love to hear opinions from those that have one of these prams.
