DS2 put his tooth through his tongue...ouchy!

I got a call from the childcare centre to say that DS2 had an accident outside playing and put his tooth through his tongue. I was told that it was a "sizeable" gash. It bled a lot but they gave him an icypole and ice and it has since stopped bleeding. DH has gone to pick him up and take him to the doctors to get it checked out.

Ouch! Hope it heals quickly!

The doctor checked him out - he was concerned that he might have had an ear infection which caused him to lose his balance. Funny, we didn't think of that.

Apart from talking funny yesterday and complaining that it hurt there are no lasting effects.You can see the cut but apparently tongues heal rather quickly. It was more of a "gross-yuck!" accident than anything else.

Glad he is ok.
Hope theres no ear infection either.
