Party Planning / Evening Work

I'm looking into evening work that is flexible... and I'm guessing... that party planning is the only option... so please any ideas please shoot them my way, I do not have money to invest big dollars and I'd like to earn money so I can give my kids swimming lessons and other small things that our current wages aren't stretching too.

I've done... Avon... TWICE!!! ... Tupperware ... Nutrimetics ... Stampin' Up! ... and these didn't work for me... for a number of reasons one of them being that I couldn't invest in the company as much as others around me had but I'm willing to give it one more shot!

So hit me... the good the bad and the ugly.... pretty please

I don't know anyone who has done well out of any of it. Most people I know have given up after a year or so. Could you do supermarket night fill?

I did consider supermarket night fill type work but due to my husbands medical issues / appointments etc I need a bit more flexibility

I think if you are going to do one of those party plan type things you need to LOVE the product and be super passionate about it or else you just can't make money. Other options might be waitressing at a local restaurant at night??

Many of those partys can be very good if you get family and friends support at start. But can be costly.

I looked at Chefs Toolbox but they didn't have much info on their website which turns me off because it means you have to talk to them about it to find out more and I prefer to do investigating on my own first.

I did UCW for a few years, and I loved the clothes, but I'm just not a salesperson - I can't get people to buy stuff they weren't already gonna buy, LOL. I think they've got a $100 join up at the moment, not sure. If you signal your interest on their website they'll get someone to ring you ASAP.

What about a local petrol station or something? Even a take away place, as a casual, you can get someone to cover a shift if something comes up then??

I agre that for party planning, you need to love the product, so that's what you need to focus on, what do you really enjoy??
