12 months ago I started playing sports. I've not done anything, any real exercise/sports since high school. I thought I might have seen a difference in my body since starting, but I haven't. Nothing.
I don't have scales, so no idea what I weigh atm, but I have jeans that were a bit loose on me 18 months ago & they now fit. Not the results I want :(
I'm not over weight. I really don't have much to lose at all, just my belly & toning up really.
I am definetly fitter than I was, but that's it. I just don't understand why I'm not losing anything. I haven't changed my diet much, but I don't eat much junk at all. I'm not all fat free, but nothing overly bad, except my one coke a day
I just thought being as active as I am these days, there'd be some kind of difference. Somewhere. I just started working again, cleaning cabins at the c'van park, so on my feet 4-5 hours most days. Hoping that'll do something I guess. Netball on Thursdays & Saturdays. With work & 4 kids there's not much time or energy left for anything else except constant house work.
I walked every morning with a friend for a few months as well. Hard walking, pushing a pram through sand etc, but I still didn't see anything. Only stopped that because I'm working now.
Do I really have to do more, or should I just wait now I'm working & see what happens? From doing nothing at all to being constantly on the go, I should see something shouldn't I? I've upped my water intake since working too. Hoping that helps.
:dunno: Maybe my only option is hard core gym time exercise & every day stuff won't help.
