Awesome Awesome AWESOME book!
A must read :)
I couldn't get into it. I tried twice but gave up.
I loved it. Definitely one of those books that stays with you IMO, and is great to read and reread.
Yep, I read it for my Book Club. Had to speed read in three nights so suffice to say, I don't remember too much of the detail other than that it was brill.
I loved it too. Amazing story.
I loved Water for Elephants too (just don't watch the movie because its such a letdown). I love Geraldine Brooks - Year of Wonders and People of the Book. Both among the best books I've ever read
It's on my list and I've heard really good things about it so I can't wait to get started.
I loved water for elephants too.
What's this book about?
An Australian man who is a convicted bank robber. Escapes from prison and flees to India. The book is predominantly about his life in India. Its based on a true story
Yep, another one who enjoyed it :)
Ah yes I have this book. Bought it while we travelled in India. Boy it's written very well, India is exactly as its described! Think I have read it about 6 times. Is there really going to be a movie???
Amazing book, first chapter a bit slow but after that its a total page turner. Apparently he wrote it in prison twice from memory as the manuscript was taken from him the first couple of versions. I would reccomend for sure!
