Hi. I was just wondering if your vagina changes in pregnancy. I can't see it anymore so had a quick look last night in the mirror after a shower when i noticed it just 'feels' diffrent. It doesn't even look like mine! :lol: It's almost like it has gained weight IYKWIM. I feel the pressure of my belly pushing down on it and it makes the flesh around there very tender, especially if I have been sitting for a while.
So anyone else? Or is this something I should be concerned about?
Sounds normal, you'll find the increased blood flow makes it look and feel a bit swollen, especially after sitting for a while.
Thanks little_mrs, yeah that makes sense. I just hadn't seen it in a while and got a bit of a shock lol.
Absolutely normal.
I had vaginal varices ( varicose veins in the fanny- the labia to be exact), they make things look veeerrrry diferent- gross actually-so i stopped clipping my pubes in an effort to cover them lol.
The feel 'bumpy', and sometimes you would feel a lot of pressure down below with them as the extra blood flow makes it all feel heavy. You'd probably see them in the mirror tho.
But you get extra fluid down there anyway, also sometimes looks more purple colored. Don't worry it goes back to semi-normal eventually. (just don't look down there after the birth for a while if you think its bad now :D)

:rofl: Saffy!! Sounds delightful! Yeah it's like it's gone all 'meaty' and swollen. Not pretty at all. How anyone can feel sexy during pregnancy is beyond me!

That's actually one of the ways they used to check for pregnancy, if I remember correctly... At least it's better than killing rabbits after injecting them with urine :o:
And yes, another repeat of "that's normal" :) I felt like I was going to turn inside out some days!
It looked the same as usual for me but just looks more puffy and swollen. I can only assume that it gets swollen and has increased blood flow because it's getting ready to have to strrrretch. the increased blood flow seems to also make my "intimate" life a lot more intense....yeah!:happydance:
Yes this still bothers me every day! Oh dtd is the LAST thing on my mind, mainly because of this reason. It's just so unsexy! :lol:

I remember "grabbing" it one day and looking at DH with disgust telling him that I could "GRAB IT" and just being totally horrified. He laughed.
