Cleaning a latex mattress
We have a latex mattress which I've always used a dust mite cover on as I'm allergy to dust mites. My husband sweats terribly and I'm noticing that the sweat is going through the mattress protector and staining the top layer of the mattress. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I can clean the actual mattress to remove the sweat marks? The care instructions don't really give much detail and I don't want to ruin the mattress. It weighs a TONNE so the idea of also putting it out to dry is difficult - it took 4 adult men to carry it into our room when we moved here.
Also any tips for drying it when I do clean it would be great as I'd obviously need to be able to sleep on it that night..
I'm going to go and get a different mattress protector (even though the one I have cost me a fortune) which I know will stop again sweat as my daughters one is a different brand to mine and hers protects her mattress from dust mites plus if she wets the bed it doesn't get through to the mattress.
