What is going on! :(
Hi all,
I need some advice on what my body might be doing.
Back in feb i had a mc at 6 weeks. I got my first normal period after the mc on the 19 march. My cycle was only 26 days long which is short for me. I am now on my second cycle of trying again. Before i got pg with the mc i had noticed that my cycles were shorter than expected since i had my daughter in october (she was stillborn, hence we are trying again). My concern is that i am ovulating later than I was prior to having my daughter - usually getting a positive opk around day 16-18. So on average say i ovulate day 17 at an earliest but getting AF earlier so it seems i have a short luteal phase (maybe around 9 days max it would seem). I started taking vit b6 to help with this - this was my first cycle. My GP is convinced that i am ovulating earlier than i think, however i have been doing opk's since trying again and always get a positive between days 16-18 and i start doing them from early in my cycle just to make sure as well as temping this month because i just know i am not ovulating on day 12 or something. Anyway today is day 12 of my cycle and i have woken up bleeding?? Yesterday i had a bit of brown spotting and thought that maybe it was some ovulation spotting and i was about have to swollow my pride and tell my gp that i ovulated early but now its bright red??
could this be something to do with the vit b6? there is no way that it can be ovulation bleeding - its red!
i hate TTC :(
NB I also just did my opk for the day and completely negative - not even a mark argh!

B6 isn't known for causing bleeding to my knowledge though I could be wrong. Mid cycle bleeding is not that unusual though sometimes it can (not always) be due to low progesterone. Have you had your oestrogen and progesterone levels checked? It's a blood test. Wish I could be more helpful- your body may just still be taking a while to fully adjust? It's frustrating isn't it.

thanks lady love at TT. I find it all so frustrating. When i conceived my two girls it was easy (well not easy - but not confusing like this!). My first took a year to conceive but my AF was completely normal and pretty much the same every month. My second daughter was half planned - see what happens and bang pg straight away and now...ahhh!!!!! guess i just have to wait it out - was just concerned that the b6 may have been playing with things :(

I'm sorry to hear of your losses.
It's possible your hormones are still a little out of whack after your m/c. Can your GP run a hormone panel to check (ie CD3 hormones and 7dpo progesterone)? Otherwise, I'd say wait another month or two and see if it settles down.
Your GP could also check other hormones like prolactin, in case those are messing with your cycle. I had late O and a short LP (10 days) while I was BF (ie high prolactin) and still managed to get a BFP, so it doesn't mean it's not possible.
