We recently booked a flight for DS15 as Master DS but when we checked in I was told he was no longer a master and it was apparently a major issue :rolleyes:. I was under the impression Master was used until 18, when they become Mr. When do you stop using Master?
according to wiki its master til age 8, then just their name until they turn 18. But I would have thought the same as you, master until 18 and he becomes an adult. I assume the airline wanted to call him mr?
How odd. I believe that you are a "master" until you reach your legal majority, which is 18 in Australia.

If I had to guess, I would think about 12, but obviously I'd be wrong
I stopped calling myself Miss and started with Ms at 16, but that was just a personal preference, nothing legal about it.
I would have said logically in my head, 12; but I would have thought legally speaking, 18.
