Are you willing to share your experience of pregnancy loss?

Ms Catherine Collins, Dr Damien Riggs, and Dr Clemence Due, researchers from the University of Adelaide, are looking to interview South Australian woman who are willing to share their experiences of pregnancy loss. The research focuses specifically on:
- Women’s emotional experience of pregnancy loss.
- The impact of a pregnancy loss on relationships with partners and children.
- Women’s experience of support from the health care system.
In order to participate in the research, you will need to:
- Be over 18 and fluent in English;
- Have experienced one (or more than one) pregnancy loss at any stage between conception and birth;
- Have experienced your pregnancy loss at least 2 years ago (ie before May 2011).
If you meet these criteria you are invited to take part in a 1-hour interview which will involve discussing your experiences of pregnancy loss in terms of the first three points above. All data collected and written reports will ensure that your identity is kept confidential and anonymous. The results from this research will be made available to you when the project is completed. This research has been approved by the University of Adelaide Ethics Committee.
