Hi everyone,
My DD has rather sensitive skin... She tends to get rough patches of skin on her arms and back. She had her injections today and CYH nurse said it looked like dermititus? She has a paed appointment on Thursday... should I wait until then and ask? I currently use Aveeno on her, but was thinking of changing to moo goo? Any suggestions that may help with this dry skin? Anyone else use Moo Goo?

My son has something similar. In his case it was a mild form of eczema. I use goats milk soap and it has improved. I tried other things but they didn't work for him.
Thanks chocaholic... My mum said it looks like mild eczema... I think I'll give anything a try. Hopey I can get more ideas on Thursday x
Coles and Woolies both sell the goats milk soap. It is usually on the top shelf and sold in single bars (in a cardboard box). It is about $2 a bar.
I tried an expensive online brand and it worked but the cheaper one also works well.

My son has something similar too. All related to his excma and hay fever. We bath him in QV bath oil. That clears it up in a few days. Also if we use the cheap bubble bath or normal soap it tends to come back - or swimming in chlorinated pools.

Lol - definitely keeps me busy. Not looking forward to going back to work next year either. Getting one to day care, one to preschool and three to primary school and me and hubby to work before 8:30! Will have to get up at 5am! Lucky my boys are all early risers! Hope you work something out with your little one. Worth trying a few things to find what's cheapest and easiest to maintain as we have to use it for every bath so you may too. Good luck
Definitely. Also, you may need to factor in shampoo & conditioner. I use an oatmeal shampoo & conditioner as any others tend to trigger the rough skin as it runs down his back when it gets washed out.:
