Nappy bag for newborn & toddler

Any recommendations for a nappy bag for a newborn & toddler? DS is 2.5 so I dont have to take anything out for him around town, but when we go out of town to visit family I like to take a change of clothes/jackets/packed lunch etc and it would be nice to have a bag big enough to fit in with bubs stuff.

I am currently looking at the Vanchi Fleetwood, I like its plain look (not really into the patterned bags) and that it has pockets on the outside for my purse/keys etc. Obviously at the price tag it would be a very special treat lol.

Any other recommendations? Cheaper is obviously fine lol. I've looked around kmart/big w/target and didnt really find any bags I liked. Strandbags have a nice handbag that might be alright although I worry it may be too small (its 22(H) x 38(W) x 13(D) cm. Compared to the Fleetwoods 43W x 30H x 21 gusset cm)

I have an Il Tutto Nico (Berry colour) - love it! Perfect for two kiddies and also a nice overnight /carry on bag for me :)

I think I'll need a new nappy bag, I've managed to break the zipper on mine. The little tag things snapped off :redface: So I'll be watching out for suggestions too :)

I've got two Vanchi's - a Zeppelin and a Ziggy Tote and I love them. My Zeppelin is particularly good for two kids.

I am totally coveting the mimco nappy bag....I *must* have it lol.

I've told DH I need the SkipHop Duo for this baby and DD. It looks lovely and big, and functional and pretty all at once :) Considering a nappy bag basically becomes my handbag when I'm on maternity leave I need a big one lol. Only problem is I think it needs to be imported.

I only have one at the moment but I think my mimco will be fine for when number 2 arrives! It's quite big, and I can fit loads in it!

I have a vanchi - not sure which one. I like it because it doesn't look like a nappy bag, however, DH won't carry it because it doesn't look like a nappy bag - looks too much like a handbag for him to carry! lol

I've looked at the skip hop grand central and also at one of the oi oi nappy bags. Can't remembering which one but know it comes in a buffalo leather look. I had a oi oi one for the first two and it was great

I have a NicNac carry all and I love it to pieces. The customer service is great too - the trim on my original bag got faded and worn (after being flogged for 12 months) so it was replaced for free, and 12 months later the new one is still going strong. It's machine washable too, which I love, and an Australian company.

I've looked through them all and I still like the Vanchi, which I can hopefully look at in store in a couple of weeks when they get stock back in. (only supplier in town). But I ended up getting a $7 messenger bag from Kmart that I found hidden in a corner LOL! It looks like it will be well and truly big enough for 2 and has pockets galore for everything. For $7 I couldnt go past it lol, we're on a tight budget so being sensible won out in the end lol. I've told DF though if I hate it I am going the fancy-pants expensive one hahaha!

Buuuut, a friend designs the Lubelle bags and, if I didn't already have my Oi Oi bag, or thought DH would let me splurge again, their Lola Baby Bag would be my no 1 choice as they're soooooo gorgeous. Still working out a way to convince DH I need another, when my Oi Oi bag looks brand new....;)

I have the Vanchi shopper and its awesome. It's big enough to use as a travel bag to go away for a week for dd2. But def look at them first. I had my heart set on a different style then saw this one and had to have it!

Make sure you buy through one of their listed stockists though because otherwise it's a pita if there is a problem.

Going back to an old thread, I just layby-d a new bag. It's huge and gorgeous and the only bad thing is it's still at the shop! The brand is GR8X and it wasn't cheap, but I couldn't put it down lol. It's massive so I'm gonna be using it before baby gets here - will be a great hospital bag - and will keep for an overnight bag when I don't need it for baby. It's shiny and black with aqua accents. Drool.
