The guru of all this medications to do with TTC, preg and BF is
Mr Rodney Whyte T: (03) 9594 2361 F: (03) 9594 6595
If you google him you can find his email address. He is at Monash medical centre.
Thanks Feeb! Bugger he's on holidays ATM!
I see you're in Perth - phone KEMH and ask to speak to their pharmacy drug help line. You will speak to a pharmacist who can answer all the questions you might have about what drugs are ok in pg and bf - and when ttc you have to consider yourself pg as far as taking meds is concerned.
See this page Pharmacy - Services A - Z - Women and Newborn Health Service
and call this number (08) 9340 2723 (though that one says Mon-Fri, so try (08) 9340 2722 as well.
You can also just go and see or phone a local pharmacist - make sure you speak with a pharmacist, not an assistant, and be really clear that you want the info checked specifically for being ok in pregnancy.
