We're going to an outdoor family concert tonight at an amphitheatre in the bush. Any ideas on safe food to take? I was thinking maybe Vietnamese rolls if I keep them in a cold esky... But I've got a hubby & three kids too, trying to come up with versatile ideas that are safe for me to eat, but food they will also want :) help?! Lol
We usually do BBQ chook rolls, we buy the chook on the way so its really hot or a fried rice that we just dish up when we get there
As long as you can make it fresh and then keep it cold - if you've got a big-ish esky, put a coupe of bottles of water in the freezer to pack in so it's super chilled - then most things you'd eat at home should be fine.
I'd just do sandwiches or salad wraps, maybe little quiches or zucchini slice...
