Early Scan

Just wondering if anyone in Melbourne has ever had an early scan and if so where and at what number of weeks pregnant were you?

How many weeks are you, Booties? There is a great place in Hampton St, Hampton. You are unlikely to see much before at least 6 weeks and will just cause yourself a world of worry if a HB can't be found!

All 4 of my babies ive had scan, usually around 7-8 weeks

ETA: Scans were done at MIA in Clayton + Marina in Dandenong

Thank You nickle730 and Rosetti :) I am only 5 weeks + 4 Days at the moment but was thinking I would like to have a scan around 8 or 9 weeks as I have had 2 miscarriages this year and freaking out!!!!

Congratulations on your pg! By 8 or 9 weeks you should see a lovely little HB. What area of Melbourne are you in?

Have you found the Belly Buddies group for your pg? I'm sure you would be welcomed. There is also a thread for pg after miscarriage or loss somewhere, I'm sure you would find support there also. :D

Thanks :) Yes I have found both the group and thread :) I am in the Eastern suburbs but don't mind travelling if I have too.

I used Melbourne US for Women, in Hampton Street, for all of my pg's and I was always happy with them. They only US women and only for gynae or obstetric scans, so specialists in the area.
