Advise

Hi I'm new on this and not 100% sure how it works but I would love some advise ... Please

ok I'm 27 had regular cycles pretty much since the get go. From near the end of 2009 to the start of 2012 I've suffered from endometriosis and had two operations to remove two large cysts and the right ovary and Fallopian tube. My cycles have been pretty much bang on time every month until May. In may I get nothing and thought my dreams of being coming a mummy had finally come true but no nothing. Now we are in August and still nothing. I have been to the doctors and they look just as confused. I've had blood tests & ultrasounds with nothing bad showing up.

I've got one more blood test results comin back on Monday and than a trip back to my gyno to see if he can help.

Has anyone else been through this? Please?

Do you know for sure you are ovulating? I know sometimes you can get your period without actually ovulating.
On the other side, I rarely got my period because I just didn't ovulate. Definitely worth determining if you have eggs being released.

I ended up trying tcm and that helped me to start ovulating.

Hopefully someone else knows more :)

Hwils I don't have endo nor know anyone with it so I can't help with that, but there is, I think, a support group for it/discussion group here somewhere.

As for not having your period, as LittleO said do you know when you may have ovulated? Or if you did? If it was later then your period (if you didn't conceive) would be later as the time from ovulation to the first day of your period (luteal phase- sorry for explaining, not sure what you do-don't know about cycles) is roughly the same length month to month.

In my 20s I would go months and months without getting a period. It went on for years...pretty much until was 31 and had a baby. I wasn't ovulating. It happened after my pregnancy but much less frequently.

I guess I'm just freaked out because my period is always on time & has been since I started gettin them all those years ago.:pray:

We have now hit September and still no news but I do have a specialist appointment booked in which is a positive note 😔

I don't have any advice sorry but I can share a little of my experience. I always got AF too, sometimes my cycle length would differ in length but it was never two or three months etc in between. I wasn't ovulating. The eggs were maturing in my ovaries but not releasing instead turning to cysts. We used the drug Clomid to get our DD after 2 1/2 years of TTC. You can read about Clomid on here or with a quick google. I hope you receive some good news soon. I remember the pain you just be feeling right now all too well and it isn't nice. Hugs.

Hi girls, went to my gyno and nothing is wrong apparently my body is just having A time out. An egg is ready to be dropped so he said try now and if in 4/5weeks the pregnancy test comes back negative. Than he is going to be putting me on clomid to see if that helps. Wait and see I guess but I do feel happier know that I have no cysts & that noting is wrong. ????
