Hi ladies,
I just got AF today and got my script for Clomid filled this morning. My OB/Gyn said to take it from days 5-9 but curious as I have heard others take it from days 3-7. Anyone know what the difference is?
Also, I'm curious how many of you fell pregnant on Clomid within the first 3 cycles on it and curious how many of you that took Clomid conceived multiples? I'm a bit nervous of multiples but whatever is meant to be is meant to be lol

From memory I toke clomid (25g) on cycle days 5 to 8. I am not sure why the days differ, maybe it goes off how long your cycle is? We were very lucky and feel our first Clomid cycle with a singleton :)

I've had two singleton pregnancies from two clomid cycles - DD is 13 months and I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant. Both of mine were 50mg starting day 5. I'm not sure why the range of protocols but I guess maybe its similar to IVF that the one regime doesn't work for everyone. If your FS does ultrasound monitoring that should reduce the risk of multiples as if you have too many follicles developing they may advise you to abort the cycle. A lot of the multiple pregs in the past were when unmonitored cycles were common. With my second cycle I had to use a hcg trigger as if I'd gone any longer before ovulation there would have been multiple dominant follicles.
DS1 was conceived on my first round of Chlomid. Huzzah!

According to my OB the day you start it doesn't make a huge difference, but they usually judge it based on your normal cycle length.
My DS was conceived on my 2nd cycle and I am now 30 weeks pregnant, and this one was conceived on our 1st cycle.

I took Clomid for my first 2 PG's....I am pretty sure that I took it day 5-9. I had twins with both of my DD's but lost their twin in each PG, but still had a healthy DD. Both girls are happy and healthy and the best things that happened!!

I took it day 3-7 I think? 1st time for DD1 and second for DS2. No multiples here!
