Has anyone had their ovaries repositioned??

In the coming weeks I am having a laparoscopy to have endo removed. I'm also having a hysteroscopy, cystoscopy, D&C and dye studies and having my ovaries repositioned. (They are in the wrong place).

I have never heard of this last thing being done. Has anyone had it done? Is it painful?? What is recovery like??

N2L, I haven't ever heard of this being done, but it makes sense when you realise the ovaries aren't glued to the Fallopian tubes like the pictures in our biology text books seemed to imply. FWIW I've had a different kind of repositioning done (piece of my back became a piece of my front) and as weird as it sounds my body has accepted the change and it now feels "normal". Our bodies are capable of amazing recovery & change, so I hope all of this goes well for you. :hug:
