Tell me about your child/ren.

DD1 is all rainbows and butterflies while playing in the dirt. She is the girliest tomboy around. She is kind and sweet and everyones friend. She is very tickalish (under the chin really gets the giggles going). She is a vegie loving fussy eater. She could not throw a tantrum to save her life. She can change her mind about something in the blink of eye and there is no going back. Oh and she is very very clumsy.

DD2 is misheavious and giggly. A nudist in the making. She is twirly dresses and skirts with jeans on underneath. She loves bugs and mud and water. She hates noise but loves making it. She is stubborn and head strong but will do anything for a cuddle. Vegies and salad is all she eat and olives are her chocolate. She will be the protector of her sister and brother as they grow up.

DS is only new so still has so much to show me. So I might have to come back in a few months to fill this one in. He loves my singing and I have a shocking voice so maybe that says a lot ;)

DD is a boy on the inside lol. She likes to wear a tutu and then play in the dirt, or in Daddy's shed. She "fixes" things for him and pretends to drive his off-road buggy to Nanny & Poppa's. She likes to ride on his motorbike with him, she has her own baby quad and she mos the lawn with him on the ride-on.
She can do the most gorgeous Peppa Pig snort, and she can draw snakes and lizards really well. She knows every word to "There's a hippopotomus on our roof eating cake" and she reads it to me every day. If she doesn't know a book she'll make up a story based on the pictures. She can do the dance for each of the In The Night Garden characters.
She's hilarious, she cracks me up every day and she's beginning to know what's funny. She's a parrot and will copy every single thing we say. She's gotten so confident now, she makes friends easily and talks well to other people - answering their questions and being polite.

She's changing and growing every single day and I feel so privileged to be able to get to know her this way, before anyone else does.

My DD is 19 and a half months. She's a mummy's girl but is fearless and generous and open hearted. She adores all living things - humans, birds and animals - and especially sees a kindred spirit in dogs, as they share a desire to bound away unrestricted and climb affectionately all over and make friends with new people. She will share her sultanas and crayons with anybody, even if they don't want them, and is her happiest at parties, in the park, or anywhere with lots of little people and nature. She doesn't walk but runs, always. She is passionate and wears her heart on her sleeve. She is contagiously enthusiastic and happy most of the time but if something bothers her or doesn't go her way she will have the ultimate showdown. She knows no grey zone. Despite being an energetic, exploratory girl she is also most happy when being read to or 'reading' to herself. It is her time of focus and calm and a rare stillness.

I agree with you Teeki, it is a privilege to be able to have that intimate knowledge about such amazing people isn't it?

Miss 7 is the most beautiful little girl. I took some photos of her the other night and cried while I was editing them. She is breathtaking. She is also a dirt loving kid, but I think that has more to do with living where we live than her personality. She is so so smart, but she really struggles with the burden of that. She's also built like a giraffe and is so strong and has this amazingly athletic body, but she's so conscious of how different she is from other kids her age, it breaks my heart. She is so kind and generous, and the most amazing second mum to DD2.

Mr Spunky 4.5. He's my daredevil in disguise. He has some horrendous anxieties, yet when he's on his bike, he has no fear. He's free. The stunts he pulls of frighten me sometimes. He has come so far in his independence since he's realised what he can do. He is the kindest little boy. He will always put his sisters or his friends first. While he's not a natural leader, he's the kid who will stand up for the underdog, and make sure everyone is treated fairly. He regularly gives the most beautiful compliments.

Miss 19months is the family clown. She will do anything to get a laugh. She usually has it spot on too. She's so strong and independent, you'd never know she was so little. She is my climber (and I thought DS was good lol), my adventurer, my explorer. If she can try it, or get into it, she will. She is also incredibly tall like her big sister, so I hope everyday they will be able to help each other when those confidence issues come up. She loves to dance too, and will drop everything to get down and boogie if she hears even a whisper of music. She has the passion of a teenager, and the roar of a lion this little one. Watch out world.

My DD loves to love. She can light up a room simply by being in it and has comical humour beyond her years. She is strong and fierce and stands up for what is right. She calls me out when I need to be called out on something and can't keep a secret from me even if she tried. She tells me Big Bang Theory is 'her show'. She is a night owl. She makes me laugh, smile, cry and sometimes tear my hair out. She dances like nobody is watching and has no fear when it comes to trying something new. I still cherish those rare times where she holds onto my leg, not wanting to let go just for those few moments before she takes giant leaps into new situations. She dreams about getting married and loves wearing my high heels. She is 4 going on 14. She is an accessories girl and almost always has to wear a skirt or a dress. She even changes clothes half way through the day so she can wear both (because she can) and who am I to stop her. She wants to please. She loves to help and wants responsibilities. She loves her baby brother with all of her heart. She is my world. She is my sweetheart.

My DS is my koala. He is such a happy baby. He idolises his big sister and watches her every move. He thinks sleep is over rated (unless he is cuddled up in mummy's bed). He is a milk man through and through but will stick anything in his mouth given the opportunity. He loves to splash. He melts hearts with his gummy smiles. He showed me that my heart could love even more than I could imagine. He is my sunshine.

This thread is awesome. What i find incredible is being able to see unique and true little characters form from this raw, untainted state.

Ds 6.. Well what can I say really he is my rock.. He's funny smart caring.. Despite some if the everyday challenges we face with him (most likely aspergers) and anxiety he sure does make me proud.. Like today he had left over slice at the bakery and he went and got his own bag to put it in.. I was grinning from ear to ear.. Without him I wouldn't be who I am today!

Dd 5 is determined and very head strong. At the moment it's reading - she's very determined to learn before she starts school. She loves a good cuddle. Very mischievous.

Ds 10 months is a cuddle pot. Mummy's boy all the way. Such a giggle pot. Curious and loves the water.

I'm obviously not as articulately capable as others here lol.
