I'm running a poll to see at what age babies rolled over for the first time.
If you could also share what your baby was doing right before rolling over too that would be great! For example, they had great head control, could do push ups etc :)

Lol my baby rolled once or twice at 4 1/2 months and hasn't really rolled since and is now 6 months.
DD3 rolled around 3.5 months, once. Then around 4.5 months she started again and hasn't stopped. She can roll both ways, but prefers to get into her tummy then crack it after a while and wants to be on her back (to then roll 3 seconds later onto her tummy again)!
she had awesome head control and pushed herself up before rolling and often lay on her side
I voted 4 months as an average.
DD1 was about 3 months
DD2 was about 5 months and
DS rolled twice from belly to back at about 4 months (but has not rolled since, just flopps like a fish).
DS rolled at around 2 months, I think probably a little after. He had great head control from birth, he held his head up when he was first placed on my chest :)
DD rolled at 4 months one week, twice in one day then only 2 more times in the last two weeks. She has great head control but is not a fan of tummy time still so is not doing push ups yet. The weeks before I she rolled she had started laying on her side playing with her toys all the time.
DD rolled over at pretty much exactly two and a half months, and it was from her back to her tummy not the other way around. She was after a toy caterpillar. She had good neck and head control since a few days old.
Same as my little man. Came with in-built head control from birth! LOL!:
We thought it was just a fluke at first, but the next day he did it and the next and the next, then he had a break for a few weeks and then he was doing it all the time again.
I vaguely remember DS rolling once, not sure how old he was....but he never did it again that I saw. Never found him rolled over in bed and he hated tummy time, but would never roll over though. He had awesome head and neck control from an early age. (I voted that he skipped rolling)
I couldn't vote twice, but I had one 9week roller and one non-roller.
at 16 weeks I think!
6 months my little man would only roll from his tummy to his back for almost 2 months. He has always had good head control, but was not a very wiggly baby until around the 6 month mark.
Once at 6 months and then bang on 10 months rolls everywhere to get where she needs to go!!
Both mine were at 7.5 weeks. I didn't realise it was early until i mentioned it to the child health nurse...
