Embarressing and weird question - TMI but need reassurance

So I know i put a tampon in this afternoon . I've been to the toilet a couple of times but didn't need to change it. So tonight I go to remove it but I can't find the string......
I don't remember taking it out and I would remember doing this and I ALS don't recall hearing it fall in the toilet when I've gone I've I've accidentally pulled it out..

Now I'm worries as I have 2 friends who 'lost' tampons and for quite sick.

TMI warning... I've had. Feel and can't feel don't think I feel it I'm there.
Wdyt - is it more likely it's fallen out??? We haven't Dtd and I didn't think I could just 'loose' it in there!

I have always been able to feel them have you been able to normally? Can your hubby have a bit if a look, I know it's probably embarrassing but if it was me it would either be that or see your gp in the morning as you have pointed out it could make you sick.

You will probably have to insert fingers to check vagina to make sure it's not there and feel for cervix so you know you've reached all the way, possibly easier to do squatting, or alternatively you could get your husband to check if he was up for it.

Another strange question... What does the cervix feel like??? God I am so naive. I didn't ever feel it when I was pregnant so I'm bit really sure what I'm feeling for...

I can always feel them too, I agree with getting your DH to look before going to a GP tomorrow if need be.

I can usually feel it in there that's why I'm worries that I can and maybe it's gone somewhere else...

The best thing to do is to squat, if it's in there it will come out.

Your cervix feels like the tip of your nose. During your cycle it will feel like a small dounut shape, circle with a small opening (no tampon wouldn't go through ;) ).
I would say its fallen out & you just didn't realise. But agree with the others, a good squat or one leg up on the loo (while standing ) and have a feel.

I wouldn't of thought it could just fall out? You probably just forgot that you took it out?

I'd go to gp for a check. I once went cause there was a piece of tampon fabric all pulled out and missing when I took it out. Was worried there was a bit of fabric left up there very embarrassing but better than worrying.

TMI ALERT..

I have found that if it is really soaked it will fall out while wiping.. I get really heavy AF and can soak a super one in an hr, so often have it come out when going to toilet.

Hopefully that has happened to you and you didn't realise..

Tmi- I've had a good feel around and can't feel anything in there so in guessing its come out when I went to the toilet and I haven't realised.
