Buy a First Response pregnancy test, I have found they are the best! If you are getting symptoms it wld mean your body is producing HCG so a good preg. test would pick it up ususlly. A FR can be used 5 days before af is due! :) Good luck!!!

Could be either I'm afraid. Cramping in the days leading up to AF's due date are indicative of AF being imminent but for some women of being pregnant. Re an accurate test result 3 days prior to AF, it depends on when ovulation occurred, and if you are pregnant, when implantation occurred.

The trouble with pregnancy symptoms is that so many of them are also normal AF symptoms. It really could go either way.

The other consideration is that it is very easy (for me at least) to want it so much that we convince ourselves that we feel things that arent real - although it feels very real at the time!
Thats not to say I think you are making it up at all, just that I personally found it very easy to convince myself I was pregnant when I wasnt.

TTC can really mess with your head.

the first cycle off the pill can be shorter or longer than normal.

I would give yourself a few months just to see what your natural cycle is like, and if you get pg in this time it's a bonus, but try not to expect it.

I fell pregnant on my first cycle off the pill!
I stopped taking in and had a little AF.. And haven't had one since!!
I had very similar feelings as well.. Just feeling a bit off and yuk and also super tired.. Still am actually!
I got a few negatives and then got all positives from the day before my period would have been due!

Hi Mary, I stopped taking the pill almost midway through the pack and had a light period a few days later and then after that we started trying.. After I thought I O'd I then started to have all the symptoms you described as well as excess saliva which was really annoying!
Then I got my BFP!

They were my early pregnancy symptoms too. All you can do is wait, I'm afraid. Do you think you ovulated, what day, what symptoms?

I felt really off for about a week maybe a little longer and then suddenly all of this symptoms went away and I thought I was losing my mind!! Haha I tested very early (twice haha) and they were both negative! And the morning before my period was supposed to be due (according to my pill cycle) and I woke up and I was just feeling a little off again and I thought "oh what the hell I'll just do the last test!" And it came up positive! I nearly fell off the toilet!
I had convinced myself I was pregnant but then when the symptoms went away I convinced myself I wasn't!
It was really confusing..

I was in the same boat as you as well.. Me and DF weren't aching for a baby but wanting to start trying, and hey presto- bun in the oven!

Hi :) I'm new hear . We are TTC with 2nd child . My cycles are SO normal it's boring . I always know when I'm ovulating as well . We actually had intercourse the night before my "ovulation" period. I didn't really think too much about it but next day I came down terrible cramps. The next day was Monday and I woke up with same lower cramps. Usually my ovulation pain is just a twinge on one side so this is odd to me. Tuesday morning I was SUPER cranky and all if a sudden felt nauseated off and on and be the time I got home I was exhausted . Wednesday , same thing constant cramps middle of lower tummy , nausea extreme fatigue. Today is Thursday and I probably felt my worst today . At one point I wanted to go home and just sleep but I kicked out of it . My tummy feels So weird ! Like it's tingling and growing ! It's only 5 days after possible conception and it's too early to test ... I'm going crazy

Mary , my husband thinks I'm crazy bc I'm having these symptoms so early but I swear something is going on !! Lol thank you for the support :) we are in it together ! I will take another test in a week and see what happens
