WOW pregnant with number 4 at 39!!!
So...I pee on the stick last night and 2 lines appeared. It is amazing to think that there was a time that I thought I thought we would never have children (after 3 miscarriages before my first was conceived)....and now...wow...this will be number 4. We have a real mixed bag along the fertility road, 3 miscarriages, PROM with the first, then being told due an infection after the first that we would need to do IVF....as we would never be able to conceive on our own....so then the IVF path we went. This resulted after a few goes with 2 lines!...woo hoo....then a high risk downs screen 1:10, baby was born fine. Then 3 months down the track pregnant again....this time with no ART...beautiful stress free pregnancy and delivery FINALLY....and now 2 lines again....on our own....DH as been desperate for one more and I was less convinced but knew I did not feel down after my last baby. So, freaking a little mainly with the idea of being just turned 39 when this baby arrives. Also, I an having massive morning sickness which I have not experienced with the others. My boobs are burning and feel like they are going to explode and I am going to get into some potato chips for this all day nausea!....
So, I have just come on to tell my secret (given I can't tell anyone else)....and share my quiet freak out!....and wonder out loud....why did I have to do IVF....am I too old and a generalized woo hoo to me!
Cautiously excited knowing that there is still a road ahead!
