Does anyone use them in top loaders?

How well do/don't they work?

Do you have to put anything in with them?

What about stains?

Someone mentioned them in a recent thread - it was one about making your own laundry detergent (I think they said not so good in top loader). I have heard good things but not sure about top loader/front loader thing.
